The Lock Haven men's basketball team (6-19, 3-11 PSAC) fell to Gannon 61-48 in their regular season finale on Saturday.

Senior Warren Christian led the Bald Eagles with 13 points and seven rebounds. Eric Brennan also had seven rebounds with 11 points. Andres Carpio was close behind, putting up 10 points and four rebounds.

Dalexis Pena dished out six assists to go along with his five points. The Haven had a poor shooting night, going 20-for-51, and just 2-for-13 from beyond the three-point line.

Gannon's leading scorer Steve Piotrowicz put in 18 points and three assists. George Johnson had 15 points, with six assists and rebounds.

Alfonso Scandrett added 11 points and seven rebounds while Travis Brannan grabbed 12 rebounds and contributed six points as well.

Gannon opened the game on a 12-0 run, and extended it to a 13 point lead heading into halftime. LHU went on a big second half rally cutting the lead to three with just over five minutes left, but they couldn't come back all the way as Gannon went on a late run to put the game away.

The team also fell to Clarion 67-60 last Wednesday, despite taking an 11 point lead into halftime.

Brennan led the team with 16 points and seven rebounds while Christian had 15 points with six rebounds.

Sharif Bolton put up 11 points on the board and Pena filled up the stat sheet scoring seven points, dishing out 10 assists to go along with his two steals and a rebound.

LHU had a tough time dealing with Clarion's Shameel Carty, who had the game high 20 points and 19 rebounds. Jamar Harrison had 14 points and six rebounds. CU's Paul McQueen added 13 points and nine rebounds.

The game started out close until a late first half run by LHU gave them an 11 point halftime lead.

Clarion came out on fire in the second half and cut the lead to four with just three minutes gone in the period.

LHU managed to keep some distance for most of the second half, but Clarion would tie the game at 52 with eight minutes to go. Clarion would soon take the lead on a Greg Parker layup.

After that, the teams would trade the lead back and forth, until a Carty layup would give them the lead for good.

The Bald Eagles have ended the season with a 6-19 record, going 3-11 in the division.
