That word echoed 37 times just before noon Wednesday as an eight-man, four-woman jury found Domenique Thomas Wilson, 24, of Philadelphia, guilty on all counts involving the February 2009 assault of three Lock Haven University students, two of whom were raped numerous times.
The jury deliberated less than 30 minutes before rendering the verdicts.
The verdicts on the charges - the most serious of which are three counts of rape, four counts of indecent deviate sexual intercourse and five counts of unlawful restraint - were met with tears, hugs and kisses among the three victims and their family and friends as they watched from the first two pews in the large courtroom of the Clinton County Courthouse.
"Yes," one unidentified woman whispered loudly after Wilson was found guilty of the heinous crimes.
After the verdict was read, Wilson's mother told her son, "It ain't over until God says it's over."
"I know," replied Wilson before both were chastised by Judge Craig Miller and Wilson's attorney, Todd Fiore of Philadelphia.
"Ma'am, enough," Fiore told the mother, who was later escorted out of the courtroom by five sheriffs deputies. A total of seven deputies were present to help keep order in the courtroom.
"Keep your head up. It ain't over 'til it's over. This is B.S.," Wilson's mother said while being escorted out of the courtroom.
Wilson then started continually mumbling, at times incoherently, while his attorney exited the seat next to him and stood by a wall. Five deputies were then stationed around Wilson for the remainder of the proceedings.
Judge Miller set sentencing for 1:30 p.m. June 7. Before then, Wilson will be evaluated by a Sexual Offender
Assessment Board to determine if he will be classified as a sexually-violent predator and come under Megan's Law registration guidelines, Salisbury said.
Salisbury could not estimate how long of a prison term Wilson will face, but said it will be "decades" at the minimum due to the number of victims and the type of crimes.
