Bald Eagles fall at WVU; dominate Cleveland State

LHU junior Jeremie Cook pinned Robert DeSano in the 184 pound-weight class in under six minutes.
Junior Owen Wilkinson also got a pin in the 141 pound-weight class for LHU when he took down Christian Hartsell in just over two minutes.
The Haven also had a home match on Saturday against Cleveland State, where the Bald Eagles dominated 33-6, winning 8-of-10 bouts.
Cook had a pin in this match as well, taking down Nick Anthony in two and half minutes. Sophomore Dan Craig also had a pin in the heavyweight class against Chris Weber in only 47 seconds.
The first five bouts of the day belonged to LHU, putting them in the lead 17-0. Junior Nick Hyatt came out on top when he won 15-0 against Cleveland State's Ronald Butler in the 125 pound-weight class.
Junior Evan Kolb won 8-3 against Zech Huff in the 133 weight class while Wlikinson had yet another victory when he scored four points opposed to Mike Mencini's one in the 141 weight-class.
Lock Haven Redshirt-junior Zach Kell won 8-1 against Dan Castillo. Seth Creasy helped out LHU with his win in the 157 weight-class against Corey Carlo 6-4.
The last major decision match of the day in favor of LHU was Harry Turner's 8-0 victory over Gahad Suleiman in the 197 weight-class.
LHU will be hoping for a victory when they take on Bucknell University on Friday, Feb. 5 at 7:30 p.m.
