Shawn Faulk passed for 251 yards and rushed for two touchdowns, but his tremendous individual effort wasn't enough, as the Lock Haven University football team (0-10) dropped its 2009 season finale 27-15 on the road at CW Post (6-5).

Faulk's 251 yards through the air marked the first time a LHU quarterback passed for over a 200 yards in a single game since the 2006 season.

Lock Haven outgained Post 386-238 on the day, but just couldn't close the gap late.

CW post led 6-0 after the opening quarter and jumped out to a 13-0 lead with 11:07 to play in the second half.

Faulk's first of two TDs on the ground cut the Post lead to 13-7.

With just 12 seconds left in the half, Faulk scored to cap off a 10-play, 75-yard drive.

Early in the third quarter, Post made it 20-7, but Lock Haven recorded a safety at the end of the third period to cut the CW Post lead to 11.

With 8:47 left in the fourth quarter, Faulk again scored on a one-yard run to cut the lead to five points.

Faulk's second TD capped off a solid 16-play, 25-yard drive.

Lock Haven racked up 275 yards through the air, compared to Post's 59 and The Haven rushed for 111 yards.

Faulk had 29 yards on the ground, as the Bald Eagles were led by Jeremiah Dunchak and Ian Smith, who rushed for 44 and 42 yards, respectively.

Micah Coleman was Faulk's primary target and grabbed 10 catches for 83 yards.

Shane Barie and Dean Tortorice both turned in tremendous defensive efforts for Lock Haven.

Barie made a team-high nine tackles, including five solo stops.

Tortorice made eight stops.

The Bald Eagles went 0-10 overall in 2009 and finished 0-7 in Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) West action.

When will they win?

My guess is the football team will win in 2011.......... unless they get a JUCO or Division 3 team on thier schedule.
