Bald Eagles cross country takes third; Lady Eagles finish sixth at Region Championship

The Bald Eagles recently moved to the #12 spot of the National Poll in the U.S. Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) and is also now ranked first in the Region Poll.
They finished third overall behind Shippensburg in first and Edinboro in second.
Junior Nick Hilton led the way for the Haven men in the 10K with a time of 31:19 coming in second place.
Senior Brandon Pomerantz was close behind, running a 31:35, coming in fifth followed by sophomore Nathan Zondlo with a 32:10 in 12th place.
Rounding out the rest of the Bald Eagle squad was Mitch Miller (32:30), A.J. Johnson (32:39), Michael Garraway (33:26), and Jed Yeatts (33:43).
The Lady Eagles finished sixth overall in the championship 6K, with Shippensburg finishing first in the women's race as well.
At the front of the pack was sophomore Lindsey Lambert in 12th place running a 22:07.
Freshman Lindsay Topper wasn't far behind was in 19th place with a 22:24.
