The Prisoner of Time
by Chris Hoskavich

Never pity the Prisoner of Time
You'll take his place in the hierarchy
You cry for remorse and sympathy
And your mind aches with regret
With age comes doubt
And where does it go?
Vengeance for your brashness
The impetus of youth
And when you look back at all you've lost
You've got to wonder what went wrong
The Prisoner is a wise man
He understands the sorrow of
reminiscing
Everyday he wants to die
And forget how he got here
Let him wonder
Let him cry
It's a present he was given
To help you learn from his mistakes
The Prisoner lives in reason
Let him suffer for it
Let him ponder
Let him die
Do not pity the Prisoner of Time
Don't fall into the void of night
Let what is continue to be
The Prisoner, alone, will sacrifice
You'll do no good to dream at night
What's gone is gone
Your wishes will get you nothing
No reason to bother and none to
