Volleyball downed in PSAC Championship

The LHU volleyball team (32-5) was swept by California (Pa.) University (33-5) on Saturday 3-0 (25-21, 26-24, and 25-19) in the PSAC Tournament Championship match. This was the fourth time in five years the two universities met in the PSAC Championship. This was also LHU's 11th appearance in the championship match since 1979 and even though the Lady Eagles lost this match, they will still appear in the NCAA Division II Atlantic Region Championships.

Bald Eagles take 73-68 win over University of Charleston

The Lock Haven men's basketball team (1-1) picked up a 73-68 win over the University of Charleston thanks to double digit points scored by Eric Brennan and Andres Carpio. Brennan put up a double-double scoring 18 points and grabbing 14 rebounds. Carpio lead that match with 21 points, getting most of them from shooting 4-5 from beyond the three point line.

Swimming goes 2-1 at IUP

The Lock Haven University swim team (4-4) went 2-1 today at IUP. The Lady Eagles lost to host-IUP (165-78) and Kutztown (181-64) before downing Salem International (7-0). Leading the way today was four-time All-American Amanda Terray, who took second in two events.

Bald Eagles open season with solid outing at Binghamton Open; Cook takes 4th at 184

The Lock Haven University wrestling team officially kicked off the 2009-10 season today with a very solid outing at the Binghamton Bearcat Open. Headlining a number of notable performances was Jeremie Cook's fourth-place showing at 184 pounds. Cook, who redshirted last season got off to a very solid 2-0 start today.

Women's basketball starts off season 1-0 with win over Penn College

The LHU women's basketball team (1-0) started off the season strong with a 90-38 home victory over Penn College (1-1). LHU took the lead early and never gave up, leading 41-19 at halftime. The Haven's defense was strong as Penn College only scored 19 points in each half.

President and AD support baseball efforts

"Keep the Dream Alive." This has been the saying of the Lock Haven University baseball team and LHU Baseball Booster Club since this past spring. Both groups walk hand in hand to reach the common goal of keeping the baseball program at Lock Haven University alive.

Lock Haven wrestling announces ticket prices for 2009-10 home events

The Lock Haven University wrestling program has announced ticket prices for all 2009-10 home dual-matches and the Mat Town Open. Bald Eagle wrestling season tickets are also available at this time.
